Compact design with a magnesium body. 21 hour playback off a single gumstick.
Can link with MD components using the Matsushita “MD Network” system.
Came bundled with a backlit remote (RFEV025P-SM) and AA sidecar(RFA1136-H).
Does not have AC adapter plug on device. It needs a DC in adapter (RP-WA10) in order to use the AC Adapter (RP-AC11D or RP-AK15, both are center positive 1.5v adapters).
